this is my 2nd sample for CC590. Maura is our hostess and she chose pacific point, soft sky, wild wasabi and crumb cake for her color palette. Dessert is to make a beach scene.
For this card I used my brayer as well as sponge daubers. I started with the brayer and soft sky ink and then moved to pacific point. Made a mask where the water meets the shore and sponged some waves. To create the waves in the water I used a stamp.
I used my sponge dauber with crumb cake ink to create the sand. The sand grains were stamped with the same ink.
My perched pelican is cut with a die from CottageCutz as are the starfish and the fish in the water. I used the same die and cut some clouds and birds to finish this part of the card.
The sentiment is a stamp from MFp "island life". That completes my 2nd sample description.

I love your card, Mary, and the Cottage Cutz Pelicun and fish from the Cottage Cutz Paddles & Rope Ladder. I love these dies and you created a beautiful beach scene using them!

This must have been so much fun to make! Beautifully done, well balanced and I love how you've achieved the look of the water gently rolling to the shore.
